THE NEW NOOSA BRAND
Noosa has a special place in many people’s hearts – holidaying in Noosa is a significant childhood memory for many; Noosa is a destination that rejuvenates relationships and it’s one of those special places that creates a whole range of wonderful feelings and emotions during a holiday.
A new and revitalised Noosa brand was launched this week by Tourism Noosa, with special guest MC Russel Howcroft from the ABCs Gruen Transfer on hand, to tap into the special emotional connection that many people have with Noosa.
The brand message reflects the feelings, emotions and experiences that can only be created... By Noosa.
The new brand, which will guide all marketing and promotional activity as well as Tourism Noosa’s corporate identity, recognises that Noosa is not just a place to visit, it’s somewhere that influences how you feel even after you’ve left.
It taps into a whole range of emotions that are experienced by visitors who know that what they have found in this beautiful place is unique and memorable.
Through stunning imagery that captures morning light over the Noosa River, family moments at Sunshine Beach, lush rainforest walks in the Noosa National Park and love shared at a beachfront table, the new brand reinforces the beauty and peace of a holiday… By Noosa. |

Jazz with a twist
What happens when you put the music of Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Neil Young and Blondie in the hands of a few young jazz musicians from New York?
The answer is an energetic trio known as The Bad Plus and they’re heading to Noosa to bring their jazz with a twist to this year’s Noosa Jazz Festival!
It’s twenty years since this successful cultural event began on the banks of the Noosa River and it’s now considered one of the country’s premier jazz festivals.

Try the tri?
It’s a colourful, energetic picture: a mass of thousands of fit bodies, lining up to run, swim, cycle in a beautiful beachside location for one of world’s most popular triathlons.
The Noosa Triathlon Multisport Festival has been host to Australia’s top athletes (think Grant Hackett and Kieren Perkins), but it’s everyday people that make this a much-loved event.
This weeklong festival involves swimming, running and cycling events for all ages as well as two golf tournaments, Queensland’s largest expo and an after party that you will need to train for!
If you are in training for the big day, why not join Nick Croft (past Noosa Triathlon champion and triathlon coach of the year) on his training camps.
If your goal is to finish the Noosa Tri or take your performance to the next level, the weekend camp will be perfect! There’s even an all-girl weekend.
